Tips for maintaining your water system
- Before leaving for an extended absence, make sure to fill the lower tray of your water system with clean water up to halfway up the ultimat Eva cartridge. This will prevent oxidation of the cartridge.
- To ensure water freshness, do not leave stagnant water in the lower tray for more than a week. If you plan to be gone for a longer period of time, completely empty the lower tray before leaving.
- When you return, completely empty the lower tray of your water system to remove any bacteria and impurities.
- Clean the lower tray with a clean sponge and use a mixture of warm water and vinegar to remove residue and stains.
- Rinse the tray thoroughly less than plain water to remove any vinegar residue.
- Consult your water system manufacturer's specific instructions for additional advice on care and cleaning.
- If you have any doubts about the quality of the water after your return, filter or boil it before consuming it.
