A fountain to fill by hand to have filtered water at home or when traveling. This Aquaticstream set includes an 8.5 L tank, two Coldstream FTO+ cartridges, a raising base and a WaterView faucet to monitor the water level.

The flow rate depends on the water level in the upper chamber, the water filling, the quality of the water and the condition of the cartridges. The total height on the support is greater than 48.5 cm: also allow the space necessary to lift the lid.
💧 Fill, let it filter, serve
Pour the cold water into the upper chamber. It passes through the two cartridges then joins the lower chamber, where it is available at the tap.
Before adding water, check that the lower chamber has enough space to accommodate the filtered volume.
👀 Useful accessories every day
The tap with view allows you to consult the water level in the lower chamber. The stainless steel base raises the system to facilitate the placement of a glass under the tap.
Install the assembly on a stable and horizontal support. The chambers can nest to reduce bulk during transport.

🛠️ Prepare the FTO+ filters
- Wash your hands and prepare the clean system. Install the cartridges with their gaskets and fasteners, then tighten by hand without forcing.
- Fill the upper chamber with cold water. The ceramic must moisten: the instructions indicate that this watering can take up to approximately 45 minutes.
- Pass and throw away 10 liters of water in total after installing new filters, in several fillings adapted to the available capacity.
- Check the tightness of the assembly and the tap before use daily.
The FTO+ is prepared according to its instructions for gravity systems. Follow this rinsing procedure; it is used in particular to evacuate the first particles of coal.
⏳ A flow which evolves naturally
The water descends thanks to its own weight. When the level of the upper chamber drops, the pressure on the cartridges decreases and filtration slows down.
The mark of approximately 2 L/h for the pair allows you to organize the fillings. It does not represent a constant flow rate until the last drop.
📅 Track the duration of use
Coldstream announces 1,500 L of nominal capacity per element. For this two-filter configuration, Aquaticstream gives a benchmark of approximately 3,000 L or 6 months.
Replace the cartridges whichever comes first. The quality of the water and the condition of the filters can reduce this duration; cleaning does not restore their capacity to new condition.
🧽 Maintain and resume filtration
Clean the chambers and the tap regularly, removing the cartridges. If the flow rate of the filters decreases, lightly clean their exterior surface under cold water according to the Coldstream instructions, protecting the outlet port from the cleaning water.
After 5 days or more without use, fill the upper chamber and throw away all the filtered water from this cycle before resuming consumption.

The FTO+ combines a ceramic barrier and activated carbon. The performance sheet CF163W details the results by substance and the test conditions.
The tests mentioned concern filters tested with a Coldstream system. They do not constitute a general certification of the Aquaticstream system and do not guarantee that any water taken from nature becomes drinkable.
