Officially approved by New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. for Berkey® systems, the Phoenix filters manufactured in India, constitute a distinct reference from the Black Berkey®, with their own characteristics and maintenance recommendations. Choose the capacity suited to your household.
UNDERSTANDING THE FLOW RATE
Fast filtration
Phoenix filters are designed to offer high flow rates. A rapid flow does not, in itself, constitute a defect.
It corresponds to the expected operation when the assembly is tight and that the flow rate remains consistent with the characteristics of the chosen model.
OUR MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATION
12 months
Annual replacement recommended
Our shop recommends replacing Phoenix filters every 12 months from their commissioning, or earlier depending on water quality and volume filtered.
The usage times announced for Black Berkey® should not be automatically applied to Phoenix filters.
THE DYE TEST RED
Check assembly and sealing
The red food coloring test is used to check the correct installation of the system and to detect possible internal leaks, in particular around the joints and tightening points of the filters.
What it checks
The correct assembly and tightness of the assembly: joints, tightening of the filters and plugs of unused locations.
What it does not measure
The filtration efficiency against contaminants. This control sealing does not replace laboratory performance analyses.
Use the red dye supplied or recommended by the manufacturer and follow the instructions in the leaflet.
For your tap drinking water
The manufacturer does not claim microbiological treatment performance for Phoenix New Millennium filters Edition™.
