🚰 Practical distribution
The handle allows you to open and close the flow of water collected in the lower tank. The tap can be fitted to a new installation or replace a worn tap on a compatible system.
Its stainless steel finish matches the metal tanks of the fountain.
🔎 Check your tank model
The brands cited correspond to the compatibilities announced for this Monderma® accessory. For another fountain, check the drilling, the thickness of the wall and the space available around the tap.
The choice of tap depends on the tank and its fixing; the brand of cartridges installed is not enough to determine compatibility.
🔧 Assembly: the seals against the wall
- Empty the lower tank. Wash the parts with soapy water, then rinse them carefully before assembly.
- Place a stainless steel washer on the thread, then a silicone gasket. Insert the tap into the hole in the lower tank.
- Inside, add the second silicone seal, then the second stainless steel washer and the nut. The silicone seals are thus located on either side of the wall.
- Tighten by hand and orient the handle upwards, following the diagram in the instructions. Close the tap, add water and check the tightness of the assembly.
Excessive tightening can deform the joints. If a leak appears, check their position before tightening.
🧼 Regular maintenance
Clean the tap when maintaining your fountain, with a cloth or soft sponge, then rinse carefully. Take the time to check the seals during disassembly and replace a damaged part with a suitable reference.
